Job Description
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the entire quality control process, from raw material inspection to finished product evaluation, to identify and address any deviations or defects.
- Establish and maintain quality metrics and performance indicators to measure and improve product quality and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and supply chain management, to proactively identify and resolve quality-related issues.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of production facilities and supplier sites to assess compliance with quality standards and best practices.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on quality control protocols and techniques to promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement.
- Investigate customer complaints and quality incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor and analyze industry trends and technological advancements to identify opportunities for enhancing quality processes and capabilities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and regulatory agencies, to ensure alignment with quality objectives and requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on quality performance, trends, and initiatives to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.
