Job Description

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of auto components and related materials.
2. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
3. Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier capabilities and reliability.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to align procurement activities with business objectives and production schedules.
5. Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain disruptions, and proactively address potential risks and opportunities.
6. Lead cost reduction initiatives through supplier negotiations, value engineering, alternative sourcing strategies, and process improvements to achieve cost savings targets.
7. Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier performance metrics, and prepare reports for management review and decision-making.
8. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards in all procurement activities, including supplier selection, contracting, and supplier diversity initiatives.
9. Develop and mentor procurement staff, provide guidance and support, and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the procurement team.
10. Stay updated on best practices, emerging technologies, and innovations in procurement and supply chain management, and recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
