Job Description
- Design and develop precision tools and fixtures used in the manufacturing processes of bearings, ensuring adherence to industry standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand product requirements and translate them into efficient tooling solutions that optimize production processes.
- Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D designs of tools, molds, and dies, considering factors such as material selection, tolerances, and manufacturing methods.
- Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate the functionality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of proposed tooling designs.
- Generate technical documentation, including drawings, bills of materials, and operating instructions, to facilitate the fabrication and assembly of tools.
- Work closely with manufacturing and quality control teams to troubleshoot tooling issues, implement design improvements, and ensure product quality and consistency.
- Stay updated on advancements in tooling technology, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement and innovation in tool design.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements throughout the tool design and fabrication process to maintain a safe working environment.
